We provide free written estimates after an initial consultation. Pricing varies by project scope and materials — from smaller remodels starting around $10,000 to full custom home builds and commercial build-outs in the $250,000+ range.

Can you share a recent project you're proud of?

A 4,500 sq ft custom home build in Venice, FL, from foundation to final finishes — full kitchen with a large island, multiple bathrooms, and open-concept living. It took several months from permitting through completion and remains one of our proudest builds.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We start with a conversation to understand your goals, then review the space or plans to scope the work. From there we provide a detailed written estimate, set a draw schedule, and manage everything — permits, trusted subcontractors, and every phase through final walkthrough.

What's your background and training?

Edmond is a Florida State Certified General Contractor (License CGC1537126) with hands-on experience in residential remodeling, custom home construction, and commercial tenant build-outs — plus a background as a former restaurateur, which gives him a unique edge on restaurant and food-service build-outs specifically.

How did Build Up Contracting By Design get started?

Build Up Contracting By Design grew out of years of hands-on construction and renovation work, evolving into a licensed General Contracting business focused on remodeling, additions, and commercial build-outs across Southwest Florida.
